Kirkwall Holidays - Frasers Close

We had a wonderful stay in Kirkwall next to restaurant, the beach, and town centre.

I absolutely loved the cozy and tastefully decorated apartment. The beautiful furnishings and calming colors made me feel right at home. The common areas were spacious and easily accessible, perfect for senior people like me. It was a joy to relax and socialize with other guests in such a lovely setting.

If I could ask for one thing to make the vacation even better for senior people, it would be the presence of handrails or grab bars in the bathroom. This small addition would provide extra support and ensure added safety for us older folks.

Loved every moment there. The accommodation was warm located just off Orkney, that's what I was expecting. All in all everything was immaculate, as a bonus I received ironing free of charge. There was a bathtub. The location was handy and perfect, an easy walk from Kirkwall Baptist Church. Also, it was based in a quiet area.

I recently stayed at Apt 1, Frasers Close for a few days and I couldn't have been happier. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the town centre and close to shopping and a fuel station. Hazel, the host, was incredibly helpful and friendly, even preparing a welcome pack with cheese, biscuits. The apartment itself was spacious, with huge bedrooms and comfortable beds. The kitchen was well equipped and the whole place was clean and nicely decorated. I would definitely book this apartment again!

This place is fantastic! Huge bedrooms with huge beds. Two lovely bathrooms. Large and comfortable common area. Well-equipped kitchen. Easy parking. Centrally located, just minutes away from the Cathedral. Terrific host, Hazel, who made sure we had a wonderful stay. Two sets of keys provided for convenience. Cannot say enough good things about this place.

The apartment is incredibly spacious with large bedrooms and comfortable beds. Hazel, the host, was fantastic and made sure we had everything we needed. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the Cathedral, and there is easy parking available. The kitchen is well-equipped and the common area is large and comfortable. Having two sets of keys was a great convenience for our group. I can't say enough good things about this place.

The apartment at Apt 1, Frasers Close was in a fantastic location, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and attractions within walking distance. The apartment itself was clean, well-equipped, and had a dedicated parking space right outside, made unpacking easy. We also appreciated the good set of knives in the kitchen. The apartment felt safe and secure, being on the ground floor with easy access. the apartment was warm and cozy on arrival, providing a cute atmosphere.

One minor issue we encountered was the cooker ventilation unit above the hob, suspended too low and forward, causing some discomfort for taller individuals. we managed to solve this problem by placing tea towels on the edge of the glass projection.

Apt 1, Frasers Close is my go-to place in Kirkwall. Friendly staff helped me explore the town on my first stay. It has everything I need - free Wi-Fi, parking, a dryer, and an electric kettle. Easter plans already booked!

The value for money at this place was excellent, with spacious and comfortable rooms that were even bigger than my own house. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the Cathedral and conveniently close to all the shops and restaurants. The staff, especially Hazel, were fantastic and made sure we had a wonderful stay, providing us with helpful recommendations and two sets of keys for our convenience.
